Schlumpfine goes to Glasgow

Greetings from Glasgow!!!

It's so cool here....the university is fantastic...the people are great...and I'm having the time of my life!!! I came up here on Tuesday with Diane (a project student) but she left last night and I'm leaving tomorrow. Our XRD data looks really promising too, which makes this trip even better!!!

I made so many friends, and they're all fantastic. I hope to see them all again sometime soon.

The weather is quite dull but apart from that it's really a nice and welcoming place to visit. There was a gale warning today....and in fact it IS the windiest day I've ever seen in my life!

I taught them how to say Puffetta...and in turn I found out that in German they are Schlumpf, Schlumpfine, Papa Schlumpf, Schlaubi Schlumpf (quattrocchi)...so cool!!! :o)

Anyways...this was just a very short post....to keep everyone updated!
